A. INTRODUCTION

As a parent/guardian, by allowing your child to hold membership and attend classes with Beevendaal Academy in any hosting center, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of the service set forth by KUDUWORKS-EDUCATION in representation of Beevendaal Academy. Beevendaal informs you through our communication channels (Email and/or SMS and/or WhatsApp) when there are changes/updates on our service Terms and Conditions.

B. CONDUCTING TUITION

The parent/guardian agrees that Beevendaal reserves the right to conduct these classes in the best way they have evaluated possible and that it will demand frequent changes and adaptation in the long run. The timetable will always be available in advance, but it does not guarantee that days not showing in the timetable will not be attended nor does it guarantee subject's instructors health or availability therefore for the class although maximum effort will be put to place to take the responsibility.

C. LEARNER NON-COMPLIANCE

Non-compliance from learners will be, but not limited to, unreported absenteeism, absence of required main stationery, late coming, class interruption, uniform code violation, use of vulgar language, undone academic tasks, physical conflicts, bullying, and any form of drug abuse.
Under these circumstances, the parent agrees that the assigned center administrator(s) should take a non-physical well-judged action against the learner in subject, maximum punishment being to expel the learner from the session or from attending for the rest of the year.

On expulsion, we also agree that administrators will initiate communication with the parent or guardian to find solutions on the expulsion subject, however if it is not solved or the parent is not available for communication, the learner may be expelled.

D. FEES AND OTHER COSTS

  • The monthly tuition fee of R300.00 is payable for January to November (Unless in the cases on clause C2).

  • All fees are processed online by PayFast, A member of the DPO South Africa group and a registered Financial Services Provider.

  • Payments are billed on the 1st of every billable month.

  • Unsuccessful payment transactions will attract a R30.00 penalty while strictly barring the learner from attending temporarily.

  • Beevendaal does not accept Cash payments at the center, Bank deposits and/or EFT. A billing account is linked to the learner through Payfast.

  • The monthly billing is agreed to proceed as long as the learner has not been officially deregistered by the responsible parent regardless of their attendance status.

  • There may be other school related fees/costs including but not limited to stationery, study guides and proposed educational excursions and events. This is always communicated atleast a month prior to help with planning.

D1 - PAYMENT OF FEES
Fee payment is subject to a strict NO REVERSAL RULE and will be kept as an advance payment. The fee will be a loss in the case of expulsion should the learner get to a 3rd degree of misconduct.

We agree on a NO FULL PAYMENT, NO ATTENDANCE, NO TUITION term.

Unless it is an advanced payment arrangement, payment arrangements outside this scope will not be adhered to. Fees must be settled in an order.

On this matter, Beevendaal reserves the right to stop the learner from attending until full payment has been honored regardless of the percentage that has already been settled, if it is not 100%.
D2 – GRADE 12 CLASS
The Parent/guardian agrees that they will be paying R350.00 on Oct/Nov, the last two months in which the learner is in Grade 12 during the Matric academic year. The extra budget is meant to assist the school with extra intervention for the Matric class towards the finals.

This payment, as a last payment, will cover all the build up preparation work, including the smooth running of possible camp sessions.
D3 – SERVICE DISRUPTION
In the event of unprecedented service disruption, including but not limited to, natural disasters, school emergencies, political issues (strikes etc.), transport unavailability, lack of necessary resources like water and electricity, national health disasters leading to the closure of school gates for a certain period. The tuition will still be required for one overlapping totally unserved month; however the rest of the period will not be paid for.

E. THE BEEVENDAAL KUDU APP

The accountable parent agrees they understand to depth the purpose and how to login and use the KUDU PORTAL to MANAGE THE LEARNING PROGRESS, MEMBERSHIP, SCHEDULES AND OVERALL ACCOUNT for their learner.
The parent agrees to make use of the KUDU portal at least once per day to be up to date with announcements as well.
We agree that any announcement that was made on the KUDU portal at least 48 hours prior event will be assumed as received by the parent.
The KUDU portal respects users privacy, no data is shared with third parties.

F. SAFETY AND SECURITY

Beevendaal puts the safety and security of the learner upfront and makes it a priority. Vigilant bodies already serving the school centers are our safety personnel during the teaching and learning process.

On the other hand, the parent knows and agrees that we are working with almost fifteen to twenty-five learners per class, and it will not be possible to eye guard everyone outside the school premises. Although we will implement and run group safety program after school it is still a high responsibility for the parent to intervene and ensure the learner uses a short and safe mode of getting home.

We shall too intervene in any unfortunate or suspicious events with the parent concerning the learner.

The host center schools, officials, teachers, KUDUWORKS-EDUCATION affiliated partners and Beevendaal Academy as a whole will not be held responsible or liable in any unfortunate event including but not limited to loss of possessions, severe uncontrollable medical issues (epilepsy for an example), severe injury, trafficking or death but we will work as a unit with the help of the parent and law enforcement to prevent such actions to the highest degree possible.

As a parent/guardian, for the safety of other learners, you agree to disallow you learner to attend our class if they show signs and symptoms of an easy transmittable health conditions including but not limited to influenza, meningitis, varicella (chicken pox), HFMD, diagnosed TB etc.
